Real Madrid are ready to accept a £40 million bid from Arsenal for Karim Benzema. The French international, however, will not be the only Galactico to see his exit from the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

Below are all the latest transfer rumors surrounding Real Madrid.

Karim Benzema

Turns out, Benzema wasn't trolling Arsenal supporters after all.

According to reports in Spain (via Metro), Real Madrid will consider a £40 million bid for the 27-year-old after having rejected a £31.3 million offer. Should Benzema leave for North London, Madrid will likely sign Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus to replace him.

Asier Illarramendi

According to Fichajes (via Mirror), Asier Illarramendi is edging closer to Liverpool after failing to impress manager Rafa Benitez. The 25-year-old didn't feature in the club's preseason tour, seeing Casemiro accept a lion's share of the responsibility in midfield.

Liverpool have tabled a £10.5 million bid, far less than the £28 million Madrid paid Real Sociedad in 2013.

Cristiano Ronaldo

The rumor that refuses to die.

According to Metro, Manchester United are looking to discuss a £60 million bid for Cristiano Ronaldo. The club's ambitions will fall well short of Madrid's £84.5 million valuation.

Maybe if the English press writes about it enough, it'll actually happen.

David De Gea

Rafa Benitez is happy with the three goalkeepers in his possession, leaving no room for David De Gea in the Spanish capital this season.

"I had a great keeper in the first half [Keylor Navas], a very good keeper in the second [Kiko Casilla], and another very good one waiting on the bench [Pacheco], Benitez said (via Daily Mail). "It's a good squad, we have to work with them. If someone else arrives, he will be welcome, but they have to be better than what we have."
