According to ESPN, Kershaw has been dealing with a hip and glute issue and the Dodgers may decide to hold him out of his scheduled outing against the Oakland Athletics on Wednesday in Los Angeles.
Kershaw is riding a 29-inning scoreless streak after carrying a perfect game into the seventh inning against the New York Mets in his last outing on Thursday.

Kershaw ended up pitching a complete game shutout and fanned 11 batters while allowing three hits in the game.
The southpaw is 8-6 this season with a 2.51 ERA and he leads the majors with 185 strikeouts and 11.89 K's per nine innings. Kershaw is also fourth in the league with a 0.89 WHIP.
Kershaw and his teammate Zack Greinke provide a 1-2 punch for Los Angeles this season. Greinke had a 45.2-inning scoreless streak snapped in New York on Sunday and leads the MLB with a dazzling 1.37 ERA.
The Dodgers have had several pitchers go down this season, including left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu, but they've been in the market to shore up the rotation prior to Friday's 4 p.m. ET non-waiver trade deadline.
Los Angeles also acquired starting pitcher Mat Latos (4-7, 4.48 ERA) and first baseman Michael Morse from the Miami Marlins in a trade for prospects on Wednesday.
L.A. is looking for its third straight NL West crown, but is in a tight race with the defending World Series champion Giants. San Francisco (55-45) is just a half-game back of Los Angeles (56-45) entering Wednesday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Kershaw, 27, is the reigning NL Cy Young and MVP Award winner, but it remains to be seen if he'll be able to pitch on Wednesday.
