What They're Saying

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger (via Daily Mail): "When you score six goals, you don't have a desperate need [for a striker]. We scored four goals in the FA Cup final, we create chances and score goals. We are open-minded, everybody is in the market and many clubs have big, big money. It is not mathematics, there is a logic in the game and that means that everyone is playing for each other. Every game is different, but I still say that we are open-minded. But we are not in desperate need."

Wolfsburg manager Dieter Hecking (via Express): "We had a great season and were second last year. Kevin [De Bruyne] played a big role in this of course, and we want to finish the [transfer] speculation soon. As a coach, I have to concentrate on my team and we have to make sure we start well on the 14th of August against Frankfurt."
