Today at 11 a.m. ET, the U.S. Women's World Cup team enjoys a ticker-tape parade down the Canyon of Heroes in New York City to celebrate its championship glory.

The team has a lot to be proud of and a lot to celebrate in front of what is sure to be a flood of supporters and fans from around the country as the parade route down the Canyon of Heroes puts the women in high regard.

The U.S. Women's team is coming off of a 5-2 victory over Japan in the World Cup finals on Sunday that saw Carli Lloyd notch three goals for a first-half hat trick and Lauren Holiday and Tobin Heath each find the back of the net as well.

The U.S. Women's World Cup parade can be live streamed for free here.

After the win, which took place in Vancouver, British Columbia, the team has been on a whirlwind of parties and media appearances and even got a phone call from President Barack Obama.

The World Cup victory was America's first since 1999 and it broke a tie with Germany for most all-time, giving the U.S. three triumphs in history.

Lloyd's praises were sung by her teammates after her three huge tallies.

"She's one of the best players in the world and has been wanting to be in this position her whole life," Lloyd's teammate, Abby Wambach, told ESPNw. "And now she's here and taking advantage of it and actually doing well. So, for me, I couldn't have more respect and couldn't be more proud of Carli because she does all the things that she needs to do off the pitch to make herself the best on [the pitch]."

After a huge World Cup win on Sunday, it's time for the U.S. Women's team to celebrate with a ticker-tape parade down the Canyon of Heroes this morning in New York City.
