Paige is set for a big role on Tough Enough this season and she said she's glad that she "did it old school" when she was training to become a Diva.

Backstage Plans For Mr. Money in the Bank Sheamus

The two-time Divas Champion will be a judge on the show, which premieres Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET on the USA Network, alongside WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan and former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, who is injured and unable to compete right now.

Paige spoke with ChannelMagGuideBlog.com about her gig on the reality show, where men and women compete for a WWE contract, and she said that it's different from her experiences breaking into the business.

"My dad was wrestling for more than 30 years," Paige said. "He brought me up the old school way. You never fall asleep in the car, I learned. He would get so mad at me every time I would try to fall asleep. He would be screaming in my ear. I don't know how I would be if I were in their shoes. However, they are so lucky to have this. If they had to go through getting paid no money, but traveling 10 hours because you love wrestling, who knows how they would do."

She continued: "They have access to a doctor at the Performance Center if they get injured. Any time they do get hurt, there is someone on standby. They even have a masseuse and everything they can possibly need at the Performance Center. I don't know how I would deal with it. I like that I did it old school. I'm proud of that."

WWE Tough Enough will return for the first time since 2011 on Tuesday night and it will be hosted by Superstar and Fozzy frontman Chris Jericho while Hall of Famers Booker T and Lita will join Billy Gunn in serving as trainers.

Paige was also asked which judge will take after Simon Cowell, formerly of American Idol, in the group, and she took the reins.

"I think it's me just because of my accent," Paige said. "I think we all have that tendency [of being the bad cop] because Daniel Bryan is way old school. He has been beat up all down the highway. You name it, and he has experienced it. I think we all have a little edge that if someone is coming in here looking for this as a stepping stone to become a model or an actor, then we can be kind of barbaric if we have to be. I have a feeling we will be cool and want to do the right thing because we want someone here that wants to be here. I think there is that fine line that if they crossed, I just think there is that little edge that we can all become Simon Cowell if someone steps out of line and doesn't respect this business."

Inside the ring, Paige has been mixing it up with The Bella Twins on WWE television as she is still trying to take down Nikki Bella and end her reign of over 200 days as Divas Champion.

Paige will step out of her role as Diva and into her position as judge when Tough Enough debuts on Tuesday.
