We're just about halfway through 2015 and World Wrestling Entertainment has provided the WWE Universe with some memorable matches already.

911 Call From Dusty Rhodes' Wife Released

By now, there have been plenty of specials and pay-per-view events, so there has been no shortage of wrestling and entertainment for WWE fans thus far in 2015.

Here are our three best matches in 2015 so far in chronological order from when they occurred.

Royal Rumble 2015: Triple Threat Match For The WWE Championship: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Seth Rollins vs. John Cena

It didn't take long for the WWE to provide a Match of the Year candidate out of the gate as the very first pay-per-view and WWE Network special of the year provided the backdrop to a tremendous Triple Threat Match on Jan. 25 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Lesnar, Rollins and Cena each brought their A-game that night and put on a fast-paced, action-packed bout over the richest prize in the game. Perhaps the most memorable spot of the contest saw Cena hit The Beast with the steel steps, causing him to fall on the announce table and leading to Rollins nailing an elbow drop off the top rope through Lesnar and the table.

The ending of the clash saw Cena get taken out by Lesnar, who returned after nearly getting carted off from the table spot. Rollins then hit Lesnar with the briefcase and tried to land a Curb Stomp, only for The Beast to reverse it into an F-5 to retain his title and seal an early Match of the Year candidate.

WrestleMania 31: WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns

This memorable battle started out as a singles match, but it wouldn't stay that way. The portion with Lesnar and Reigns was fantastic as the two duked it out and Reigns showed that he could hold his own and take an ass kicking and bounce back. The match took place on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

The outset of the epic clash resembled more of an actual fight than a wrestling match with both men getting bloodied early on and eventually Lesnar gained control and hit most of his signature stuff, including "suplex city b---h." Reigns would later bloody up Lesnar by hitting him into the ring post and then he began to hit his usual arsenal.

The match is most notable for the ending as Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to make it a Triple Threat Match and pinned Reigns following a Curb Stomp, in what was an amazing booking decision to have Lesnar lose the gold without being pinned. The ending will go down as one of the most memorable finishes in WrestleMania history.

Elimination Chamber 2015: Kevin Owens vs. John Cena

You could pretty much take any one of their two clashes as the battle at Money in the Bank was also extraordinary, but for the shock value we'll go with the one from Elimination Chamber.

This was a Champion vs. Champion collision as Owens held the NXT gold and Cena was the United States Champion and it took place on May 31 at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, TX.

Each man hit their signature moves throughout and kept coming as near-fall after near-fall created plenty of tension and drama. In the end, the WWE Universe was shocked as Owens won his WWE debut match by knocking off the Face of the Franchise, propelling himself into the upper echelon of talent in the WWE.
