The Beast and The Rattlesnake could be getting set to collide on the biggest stage.
Projected WWE Money in the Bank 2015 Card
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin had Paul Heyman on his Steve Austin Show: Unleashed podcast on the WWE Network Monday night and the WWE Hall of Famer hinted at a possible clash with Heyman's client Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32 at AT&T Stadium in Texas on April 3, 2016.
Austin told Heyman that he'd be willing to compete in a bout with Lesnar and "open a can of whoopass" on the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Heyman then insisted that he wanted to make the match happen and asked if they should speak to Vince McMahon about it. Austin then replied that the only way the bout can go down is if it's a Texas Death Match.
The Texas Rattlesnake then said that he was getting riled up thinking about a potential clash with The Beast and began cutting a promo about being fired up just looking at Heyman's "sorry ass."
The end of the WWE Network podcast has led to a lot of speculation that Austin could come out of retirement to face Lesnar on the grandest stage next spring.
Austin has been lukewarm about a return in the past, saying he wouldn't want to put in all of the work and training for a one-off appearance, however he also has hinted at returning to the ring at WrestleMania 32 in his home state of Texas in the past.
Austin hasn't wrestled in a WWE ring since he closed out his trilogy of matches with his first loss to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson at the Showcase of the Immortals at WrestleMania XIX in 2003 at Safeco Field in Seattle.
Austin has made several sporadic appearances since then -- returning for special appearances, serving as general manager -- but he never competed again in the squared circle.
Lesnar, meanwhile, returned to the WWE on a part-time contract in 2012 and made history when he ended The Streak of The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX in 2014 and then again when he decimated John Cena to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam that August.
The Beast held onto the gold, though he missed a lot of time due to the nature of his pact, for the rest of 2014 and he dropped it without being pinned at WrestleMania 31 when Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and pinned Roman Reigns to win the title.
Lesnar opted not to re-sign with UFC after retiring from the MMA realm in 2011 due to a bout with diverticulitis, and he announced on SportsCenter prior to WrestleMania 31 that he signed a new deal with the WWE.
Now, it's possible a showdown between two of the biggest names in WWE history is slated for marquee event that will be WrestleMania 32.
