When the PGA Tour is hosting an event in your hometown, expect company.

That is the case for Jordan Spieth during the AT&T Byron Nelson this week. The unofficial ambassador of the event opened his home to players Justin Thomas and Patrick Rodgers, as well as caddie Michael Greller and his wife.

The 21-year-old shared the details of his living arrangements after Wednesday's pro-am.

"That's the sole reason I got a new house, so I can host some funny people this week. It's been a lot of fun," Spieth said (via Dallas News). "I've got Justin Thomas staying there, Patrick Rodgers and Michael my caddy, so we're having a good time."

"They got in Sunday night. Patrick played last week, Justin got in Sunday and we were able to spend a good amount of time together the last few days and obviously probably spend a little too much time with Justin this week," he added. "Patrick is in the same wave, which makes it easy."

"We're going to have a great time. We'll have the whole afternoon and evening tonight and morning tomorrow and it's cool. We do rent places week to week. The only difference is now when they mess up in the house, I get a little upset versus us trying to figure out how we clean it up."

Drawn in a group with Brooks Koepka and his housemate Thomas, Spieth will tee off wave No. 1 at 2 p.m. eastern time. Connected to the local community, coupled with a sponsorship by AT&T, the reigning Master champion is undoubtedly the tournament's top draw and a favorite to walk away with a lion's share of the purse.
