The Houston Rockets staved off elimination at the hands of the Los Angeles Clippers last night by finally looking like the championship-caliber team that they kept telling everyone they are. James Harden had a monster game, and the 21-point margin of victory may actually underscore exactly how lopsided of a contest the game was.

The whupping that Houston put on the Clips was a nice bit of payback for the shellacking that they received on Sunday night, when Los Angeles downed the Rockets by 33 points. Dwight Howard got himself ejected during the contest, and a video surfaced today of a heckler throwing the poor performance right in D12's face.

According to TMZ, Howard was heading to the locker room after his ejection when a fan began taunting him with shouts of "Kobe!" The jeers were a reference to Howard's lone season as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, which was a disaster pretty much all around.

Howard and Kobe Bryant butted heads all year long that season, and the two have basically hated each other ever since they parted ways. Howard famously rebelled against Kobe's demanding style of leadership, while Bryant publicly derided the big man for being "soft," among other things.

The Clippers' fans clearly remember Howard's troubles from his time in L.A., and kudos to them for trying to get inside his head.

If you watch the video below, it looks like it may have worked, too, because Howard turns around after the taunt, and he looks pretty displeased.
