The Cleveland Cavaliers are currently tied with the Chicago Bulls in their second round playoff series, with each team having won one game so far. The Cavs are still working to adjust after losing Kevin Love during the first round, but they certainly looked dominant during their game 2 victory.

As for Love, he will be out for the rest of the playoffs after having surgery for the dislocated shoulder he suffered during an entanglement with Kelly Olynyk. Many thought that his injury could spell doom for the Cavs' title hopes, but so far, that has not been the case. And according to SportsGrid, the injury may have even served to strengthen Love's bonds with teammates and fans.

"He's our brother and he makes us whole," said Cavs swingman James Jones after game 2. "So if he's playing or if he's on the sideline, it means the world to us. To have him here with us tonight as that extra body, that extra voice, that extra coach made a difference and you could see it in our play."

"Actually he's been the one encouraging me and keeping me focused," said Tristan Thompson. "I'm definitely telling him how much we miss him every day, but he's giving me advice, support and just being there for me. He just told me to go out there, be aggressive and play my game. He's a true brother and teammate."

"It was great to see and be around my brothers again," said Love. "I wanted to be here for Monday's game, but I still had to deal with some stuff at the hospital [in New York]. I'm glad I was able to come tonight though."

It certainly sounds like a different tune than Love and his teammates were singing for the majority of the season. And regardless of the team strife during the year, it is hard to argue with the results once they hit their stride.

It may not be enough to convince Love to stay in Cleveland this summer, but for the first time in a long time, it at least seems like there's a chance.
