Charlotte McKinney has made herself famous by posing scantily-clad on tropical beaches and fashion billboards everywhere, but the 21-year-old says she's a lot more than just a pretty face.

Touting her sense of humor, McKinney recently told Vanity Fair magazine that she hopes to pursue a career in comedy moving forward.

“I’m really into comedy. I hope to find an outlet to show who I am. I’m a funny girl.”

McKinney said that comedy and laughter were an outlet for her to cope with a tough high school experience. She struggled with her grades due to dyslexia, and was ostracized from her young female peers at the time.

McKinney has one opportunity on the horizon to show fans her comedy chops. She's been cast in a significant role in the upcoming laugher Joe Dirt 2. She recently shared some secrets from the set to the New York Post.

“I’m dyslexic, so when I’m reading stuff it takes me longer to catch on, and I have to read it over. Sometimes it’s better if I just hear it," she said, referring to her attempts to memorize the script.

Apparently her co-star David Spade had a completely different way of memorizing his lines—by not memorizing them at all.

"[Spade] uses a teleprompter the whole time," she said. He’s always reading off of stuff. I look over and there’s a lady holding a cue card!”
