Johnny Manziel is moving to the suburbs to get used to a different lifestyle than the one he had last season in his rookie campaign. Too many nights were spent downtown in Cleveland’s party district, staying out into the early hours getting drunk and getting in fisticuffs. If he wants to stick around for an NFL team, he needs to get serious. Less beer pong, more time studying the playbook.

Johnny Manziel Not The Presumptive Starter In Cleveland

How that affects his relationship with Colleen Crowley remains to be seen, however. Like most college coeds in the public eye, Crowley enjoys going out and partying and documenting it all on social media. At a time when Manziel needs his privacy and peace and quiet, Crowley may have other ideas.

Can she adapt to life in the suburbs? Time will tell. Hopefully Manziel’s new environment won’t drive them apart. Perhaps it will bring them closer, make them more mature, and forge a deeper connection.

Colleen Crowley and Johnny Manziel Really Like Frozen For Some Reason

The Browns refused to draft a quarterback last week at least partially because they thought Manziel had what it takes to compete for the starting job in 2015. It’s time he (and, if she’s around for the long haul, Crowley) proves it.
