The Philadelphia Eagles certainly won the headline battle this offseason with the incredible amount of roster turnover that they underwent. The team jettisoned several key veterans and contributors, but no move made more noise than when they traded star running back LeSean McCoy to the Buffalo Bills.

Dallas Dropping The 'Dez Bryant Rules'

McCoy made it clear he was unhappy with the move, and he has spoken out about some of Chip Kelly's roster decisions since being traded, but his latest comments are taking on a different tone. McCoy recently opened up to ESPN about his new home and his thoughts about why Kelly has made some roster moves that analysts have questioned.

"The relationship was never really great," said McCoy of how he got along with Kelly. "I feel like I always respected him as a coach. I think that's the way he runs his team. He wants the full control. You see how fast he got rid of all the good players. Especially all the good black players. He got rid of them the fastest. That's the truth. There's a reason. ... It's hard to explain with him. But there's a reason he got rid of all the black players -- the good ones -- like that."

Peyton Manning Not Done After 2015?

McCoy went on to note that he is not the only one that has seen a racial element in some of Kelly's moves.

"Oh, man. People have heard it," he said. "I mean ... Stephen A. Smith has talked about it. Other players have talked about it. But that's one of the things where you don't even care no more. I'm on a new team, ready to play. So it's nothing to do with Chip. I have no hatred toward him, nothing to say negative about him. When he got [to Philadelphia], I didn't know what to expect. When he let DeSean go last year, I was like: 'C'mon. DeSean Jackson?' So it is what it is."

The Eagles and Bills will meet in Philadelphia in December. We will see what the team and the fans have in store for McCoy upon his return.
