Colin Kaepernick has his share of detractors. Los Angeles Clippers guard Matt Barnes let it be known that he is one of them to the social media world.

TMZ Sports is reporting that Barnes took a shot at the San Francisco 49ers quarterback on Instagram, and the post is still up for the world to see.

Colin Kaepernick embracing positive reports about his progress

The 49ers drafted University of Oregon defensive tackle Arik Armstead with the 17th overall pick of the NFL Draft on Thursday night. According to Complex.com, Armstead is a friend of Barnes. Armstrong's father, Guss is a longtime basketball skills trainer whom Barnes worked, and Barnes has known Arik Armstrong since he was 13.

When the younger Armstrong's name was called, Barnes, whose Clippers had earlier in the evening forced a Game 7 in their first-round series with the San Antonio Spurs, congratulated his friend on his 49ers selection.

49ers offense could be better than its defense in 2015?

Barnes, however, left a message for someone else.

"Congrats to my young boy #ErikArmstead proud of you fam. Ur QB a hoe tho!! #SacTownStandUp"

TMZ Sports reported that Barnes and Kaepernick have a history, which explains why Barnes decided to air his dirty laundry in his congratulatory message to Armstead.

"Multiple sources close to Matt tell us the beef with Kaepernick goes back several years -- and stems from a situation where Matt felt 'disrespected' by Colin.

"As one source extremely close to Barnes puts it - 'Matt hates his guts.'"

It was the second derogatory tweet Barnes sent out in the hours after the Clippers' 102-96 victory Thursday night.

According to the New York Post, former NBA Journeyman Casey Jacobsen was following the game and commented on one particular Clippers possession.

With messages such as those, it's a good thing that the Clippers won Game 6. Imagine the venom that would've come from Barnes.
