The Green Bay Packers went into the NFL Draft with one of the best positions of any team in the league. The Packers boast an incredibly deep roster, which gave them the luxury of chasing a talented player instead of trying to fill a positional need.

They used the 30th overall pick in the draft to select safety Damarious Randall out of Arizona State, which is one of the few areas on the roster that could be construed as a problem. Many were curious what direction the team would take, with some even suggesting that they may just trade down out of the first round entirely.

One person who did not particularly care about the draft was star quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who apparently still harbors some resentment after his own draft-day experience a decade ago.

According to TMZ, Rodgers had some strong criticisms about the draft and the way that it is covered, calling it a "train wreck of 'expert' analysis and awkward hugs."

For those of you that do not remember, back in 2005, Rodgers was in the running to be the first overall pick in the draft, along with Alex Smith.

Smith eventually went first to the San Francisco 49ers, and Rodgers was forced to sit and wait for hours until the Packers finally selected him 24th overall. He was the last player present at the draft to be selected, and he was visibly agitated as team after team passed on him.

I guess some wounds never fully heal.
