Tonight at 8:15 p.m. ET, the Philadelphia Phillies (8-13) and St. Louis Cardinals (13-6) take the field at Busch Stadium for the third contest of a four-match series live from St. Louis.

Philadelphia has split the first two contests of a 10-game road trip while St. Louis has opened up an 11-game series with the first two matches of this series.

The Cardinals enter play on top of the NL Central Division while the Phillies are in fourth place in the NL East.

Aaron Harang (2-1, 1.37 ERA) takes the ball for Philadelphia while St. Louis counters with Carlos Martinez, who is 2-0 with a 1.35 ERA thus far this season.

Harang has pitched into the sixth inning in all four of his starts in 2015 while Martinez has been masterful against the Phillies in his career, going 2-0 with a 1.35 ERA.

The Phillies took the opening match of this set 4-1 on Monday while the Cardinals roared back with a dominant 11-5 triumph in the second meeting on Tuesday.

Matt Holliday and Matt Adams each had three hits in Tuesday's win and Holliday had one RBI while Adams added two.

Holliday is second in the NL with a .383 batting average and has a 20-game on-base streak while leading the NL with a .500 on-base percentage.

Second baseman Matt Carpenter leads the MLB with a 26-game on-base streak and is first in the NL in doubles (12), second in hits (30), third in runs (17) and fourth in batting average (.380).

The Phillies offense has struggled, but Ben Revere paces the NL with three triples.
