One of the most recognizable brand/athlete partnerships in sports is hitting the brakes. NASCAR star Danica Patrick is apparently ending her long-time endorsement deal with the web company GoDaddy.

Patrick has been in partnership with the company since 2006, and she’s rocked the GoDaddy logo and green paint on her race car since 2010. However, the Associated Press reports that her car will soon be bearing different brands in the near future.

Apparently the company, which is known for it’s incredibly racy Super Bowl commercials (including multiple ones starring Patrick), just didn’t feel the need to re-up its contract with the 33-year-old racer. Instead they will be pursuing a “personal services” deal with Patrick, whatever that is.

"I'm sad,” she said when asked for comment. “I'm a little surprised and I'm sad. But to say I didn't imagine this was not a scenario would be a lie. It's bittersweet. It's going to be really weird to think I won't drive the bright green, can't-miss-it car next year."
