The Tampa Bay Buccaneers need help at the quarterback position, and they just so happen to find themselves picking first overall in a draft that has two elite quarterback prospects. For much of the offseason, debate has raged about which guy the Bucs would select, only for a consensus to be reached that they will draft Florida State product Jameis Winston.

But will they? Obviously anything can happen in the draft, and some teams think that stockpiling picks is a better way to rebuild than just using an extremely high pick to draft a potential superstar. While there is no indication that Tampa Bay believes that they need to trade the pick, they are at least entertaining the idea, according to NFL.com.

Tampa Bay general manager Jason Licht has come out and stated that multiple teams have called to inquire about the possibility of trading up to the first overall spot. As for whether or not he is considering the offers, Licht gave little insight beyond telling reporters, "Everything is for sale."

Peyton Manning To Get Derek Jeter Treatment In 2015?

It still seems like the team is likely to pick Winston first, especially in light of the extensive research they have done about him as a player and a person, which includes nearly 100 different background checks.

"Lovie (Smith) and I are in complete alignment" on who the selection will be, Licht said. He added that only him, Smith and high-level personnel officials are involved in the final stages of the draft process. Ownership is also being kept informed.

So while it seems like they will still use the pick on a quarterback, it is intriguing to think about the possibility of a trade, particularly since the first overall pick rarely gets traded in any sport.
