Seattle is usually pretty famous for Starbucks, but this week it’s famous for the schadenfreude.

The Oklahoma City Thunder missed a bid to the Western Conference Finals by a measley tiebreaker to the New Orleans Pelicans, and Sonics fans are turnt up about it.

Shawn Kemp And Other Athletes That Struggled With Child Support

The Thunder, as you may recall, were originally the Seattle Supersonics, but fled for the midwest after they were sold to new management. It happened really quickly and the universal consensus is that it was pretty messed up. Ex-commissioner David Stern abetted the process. In short, it stunk for Seattle.

As such, you can’t really fault the city’s basketball fans for revealing in some strangers’ misery. It’s all they really have.

In fact, Sonics fans actually went on Thursday night to gather publicly to celebrate the Thunder’s elimination, and none other than Sonics legend Shawn Kemp was on hand!
