For the second consecutive year, the outlook is grim on Daniel Bryan following a momentous WrestleMania.

'Stone Cold' Steve Austin Upset With John Cena?

Bryan left WrestleMania XXX as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but had to forfeit the belt after undergoing neck surgery last May.

Bryan then won the Intercontinental Championship in a seven-man Ladder Match at WrestleMania 31 last month, but now he's been pulled from the WWE's European tour due to persistent health issues.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, the WWE pulled Bryan from the European tour following him working in a tag team match at Tuesday's SmackDown tapings for the episode that is set to air Thursday.

"Daniel Bryan has been pulled from the remainder of the U.K. tour as a precautionary measure," the company said in a statement to the website.

Bryan has been limited to multi-man matches over the last month on WWE television and was kept out of the ring on RAW the last two weeks, but he returned to the squared circle to team with United States Champion John Cena against Tyson Kidd and Cesaro in the main event of SmackDown.

It will now mark Bryan's last bout in the squared circle for the remainder of the tour. There were reports earlier this week that Bryan was dealing with setbacks with his health, stemming from the surgery he underwent last year.

Bryan went under the knife last May to repair issues in his neck in May and subsequently missed the rest of the year after losing feeling in his right arm following the procedure.

Per the report, the original plans called for Bryan to take on Cena this week on RAW in a champion vs. champion match, but due to the poor health of "The Beard," the WWE opted to give England native Bad News Barrett a shot at Cena in his open challenge.

Bryan has mostly kept the same in-ring style after the surgery, which is a growing concern for the WWE officials as they feel his body won't hold up.

The reigning Intercontinental Champion may have wrestled on SmackDown, but he was very limited in the ring and Cena did most of the work.

There is growing concern over the health and well-being of one of the most beloved Superstars in the WWE.
