Derrick Rose Back With A "Vengeance" In New Adidas Ad [VIDEO]

·          Even as he tours in Europe as part of an Adidas sponsored promotional junket, Derrick Rose won’t be far from the minds of NBA fans here in the states.

The “D.Rose Tour” is in full flight abroad with scheduled stops in Germany, Italy, Belgrade, Croatia, London, Paris, Madrid, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Manila. But while he’s away, his new “Vengeance” commercial is slated to begin running here in the U.S. any day now.

The youngest MVP in NBA history is hard at work in resurrecting an image somewhat scarred by his decision to sit out the entire 2012-13 season recuperating from a torn ACL knee injury.

Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau recently pronounced his star guard “ready to play” and insisted his speed and explosiveness” where back to the levels they were when he was voted MVP.

"I worked him out about a week ago," Thibodeau recently told ESPN.  "It was great. Watching the way he’s moving, there’s a confidence.”

In his “Vengeance commercial, as a montage to the world champion Miami Heat plays and a voice reminiscent of John Harrison’s character in Star Trek: Into the Darkness blares, Rose opines: “You think your world is safe? It is an illusion. A comforting lie told to protect you. Enjoy these final moments of peace. For I have returned to have my vengeance. So, shall we begin?”
