Johnny Manziel News: Cleveland Browns QB Leaves Rehab A New Man? Now The Real Job Of Regaining Browns' Job Begins [VIDEO]

For Johnny Manziel, rehab’s officially over. Now the actual hard part begins.

Manziel Must Rebuild "Trust" With Teammates Next Season

The Cleveland Browns quarterback spent over two months in treatment this off-season for problems stemming from drinking and partying throughout his rookie season.

Manziel told the media through a prepared statement that he was entering the facility to work on "areas he needs to improve on to help him be a better family member, friend and teammate.”

Manziel was a major bust in his first year with the Browns. They used the 22nd pick on him in the ‘14 draft, but Manziel was a disaster from almost day one. He seemed unprepared with the playbook, struggled in his two starts under center, and was embroiled in a string of off-field legal and public relations snafus.

Now Manziel will rejoin the team for April workouts, with the hope of showing teammates, coaches and the front office that he’s serious about improving his game and his reputation.

"He realizes that at some point, the talk is cheap," head coach Mike Pettine said, via WKYC.com. "To me, he's gotten himself to the point where his actions to me are much more important than what he says."
