The Pittsburgh Steelers won the AFC North last year but lost in the Wild Card round to the rival Baltimore Ravens. The team surely wants a better finish to the 2015 season, and they have been working to upgrade the roster this offseason with that goal in mind.

Todd Gurley Among 5 Backs Visiting Cowboys

One of the reasons that the Steelers were able to capture the division last year was the play of running back Le'Veon Bell. He became the focal point of Pittsburgh's offense over the final half of the season, and he put up several monster games to the delight of fans and fantasy owners. Now, it appears that they will have to start the 2015 season without their star back, as he is facing a suspension from the league.

Bell was arrested prior to last season on charges of DUI and marijuana possession, and while he only faced probation for the legal charges, he will still be punished for violating the NFL's policy.

Adrian Peterson 'Highly Unlikely' To Face Further Suspension

Bell finished last season as the league's second-leading rusher behind DeMarco Murray, and he was also the second-leading receiver for the Steelers (behind Antonio Brown). He rushed for 1,361 yards and added another 854 receiving yards.

Bell is planning to appeal his suspension, although there is no word on whether the appeal could have any effect. At best, it seems like the suspension may get dropped by a game, as Bell was initially only expected to receive a two-game suspension.
