Since leaving the NFL, Merriman has remained in the spotlight, although not always for the best reasons. Merriman is in the headlines once again now thanks to his ongoing beef with former WWE superstar and new UFC fighter CM Punk.

The beef apparently started with a tweet from CM Punk saying that Merriman had been curved by a WWE diva. Merriman says that the real story is vastly different.
