DODGERS vs GIANTS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Live Coverage from AT&T Park San Francisco

The Los Angeles Dodgers (40-44) are set to begin a three-game series with the San Francisco Giants (39-45) that could be a big boon or crushing blow to both National League West hopefuls. First pitch is scheduled for 10:15 p.m., and the game can be live streamed here. Dodgers fans can listen to the radio broadcast on 570 Fox Sports LA, while Giants fans can tune in to KNBR 680.

The Giants will have Matt Cain (5-4, 4.29 ERA) on the mound against the Dodgers' slew of high-octane bats. Cain, who started off the year very poorly despite a WHIP in line with his career norms has really settled down in the past month.

Over the last 28 days, Cain as made four starts. In those four outings, he's gone 27.2 innings, with a 1.95 ERA, 0.723 WHIP, and 26 strikeouts to just three walks. In his last 11 starts against the Dodgers, he is 5-0 with a 1.93 ERA.

Cain will be opposed by Hyun-jin Ryu (6-3, 2.83 ERA), who gets to face an offense slumping as badly as any team in the major leagues. The Giants have lost 11 of their last 13 games, and scored 26 runs in total in that span, an average of  just two runs a game.

Ryu is 0-2 against the Giants, but that isn't cause for much concern. He has a 2.84 ERA in those two starts, with the Dodgers giving him poor support. This time around, they will have rookie Yasiel Puig, Matt Kemp, and Andre Ethier available, while Carl Crawford could be activated off the disabled list today.

With his return, the Dodgers have four quality players for three spots; making matters even murkier is that Puig, the shortest-tenured in the group, has been one of the best players in baseball this year and cannot be taken out of the lineup.

Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said, "It will be a little sticky, honestly. Only three spots and four guys."
