Don't look now, but this month's NFL Draft might be missing its top two stars.

A few weeks after Florida State quarterback and presumptive number one overall pick Jameis Winston notified reporters of his plans to forego attending the NFL Draft in favor of spending time with his family, Oregon signal caller Marcus Mariota is apparently considering the same scenario.

Although Winston said he was skipping the draft in Chicago to watch the event with his grandmother, many speculated that his decision as part of an attempted image makeover. Winston was involved in a number of high profile controversies whilst at FSU -- a sexual assault allegation being the most glaring -- so staying out of the limelight as much as possible seemed like a smart decision.

Mariota, however, has no such red flags and is by all accounts a golden boy. He's also coming off a Heisman season and would be a major draw for the television coverage.

Nonetheless, NFL insider/guru Adam Schefter tweeted Wednesday that the Ducks quarterback is leaning towards ditching the festivities.

Without Mariota and Winston, the first round of the draft will still be high on talent. High on star wattage, though? Not so much.
