MLB Biogenesis Scandal: Clinic Worker Has Concrete Evidence Ryan Braun, Alex Rodriguez Bought Steroids?

Major League Baseball officials are set to meet this week with an ex- Biogenesis Clinic employee who claims he has concrete evidence proving former MVPs Alex Rodriguez and Ryan Braun both purchased performance enhancing drugs.

According to TMZ,  Porter Fischer will sit down with investigators in Florida over the next several days and is expected to provide authorities with detailed records from his days of working at the Miami clinic.

In all, Fischer claims he has the goods on more than 100 MLB players, all of whom he alleges bought steroids directly from clinic owner Tony Bosch.  TMZ reports the meeting was arranged by Fischer’s attorney, Ray Rafool, who also managed to arrange a “consultant” fee for his client.

It’s been a grueling last few days for Rodriguez, who less than 24 hours earlier was formally cleared by the New York Yankees to begin playing in rehab games. Before that, Rodriguez had engaged in an ongoing war of words with GM Brain Cashman stemming over when he might return to play from the hip surgery he underwent over the off season.

Sources have speculated both Rodriguez and Braun could face suspensions of up to 100 games each, as this marks at least the second time both have been either investigated or implicated for alleged doping offenses.
