The second day of the 2015 Arnold Palmer Invitational came to a close on Friday, with Morgan Hoffmann still holding a lead.

Arnold Palmer: 'Tiger Woods Has to Regain Confidence'

Defending champion Matt Every is tied for second with Henrik Stenson and Harris English. Below is recap of the second day's events (via PGA Tour).

What They're Saying

Morgan Hoffman: "We always had matches against each other and played a lot of aggressive shots, so I'm pretty comfortable hitting a bunch of shots into the greens and going at kind of tucked pins because I kind of seen it before."

Rory McIlroy: "I think each and every day I'm feeling a little more comfortable, especially on the greens. Obviously, we played in the morning, so we got the best of the greens and easier to trust the lines you pick for yourself. But [I'm] happy with how I putted today and [if I] putt like that over the weekend, I'll have a chance."

Henrik Stenson: "I was putting lovely all day, especially the ones on my birdie attempts from further away. I kind of left myself some smelly ones. I holed out nicely. I would have been happy with two-putt of course, but that was nice to see that one go in and hit another solid putt on 18 and made another birdie."

World No. 1 Update

McIlroy broke 70 for the first time in eight rounds on the PGA Tour this year. He played his way into contention with a 66 that included five straight birdies on his second nine.
