Aaron Rodgers has been probably the most popular person in Wisconsin for years now, as he has excelled as the quarterback of Wisconsin's favorite sports team, led them to a Super Bowl title, and won two Most Valuable Player awards.

According to Post Crescent, Rodgers' popularity is only growing as the years go by. A recent Public Policy Polling survey found that 79 percent of Wisconsin voters have a favorable opinion of the Packers signal caller, compared to just six percent that view him unfavorably. The results compare favorably with social media and other platforms. Any time Rodgers gets mentioned, the page views skyrocket.

Of course, those numbers jump even higher if Rodgers is mentioned along with his girlfriend, actress Olivia Munn. And if the story or post has a photo of the two of them? Forget about it.

Post Crescent even says that they "won a Best of Gannett 2014 award for a photo gallery and social-media burst we did when Rodgers stopped by (with Munn!) in downtown Appleton to film a Ford commercial. The gallery accounted for 1.1 million page views across the state."

All of this makes it fair to wonder if - while Rodgers was undoubtedly popular before - dating Munn has driven his popularity to another level. People who have no interest in football (or even sports in general) now know Rodgers because he accompanies Munn to movie premieres and red carpet events. She occasionally gives him shout-outs on social media, and she attends all of his home games.

The two definitely make a great couple, and apparently they really are an example of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts.
