Two quarterfinals are in the books, and two more are still to come. Today's showdown is between the host nation Baggy Greens of Australia and the resilient Stars of Pakistan.

The match is going down in Adelaide, so expect the Aussies to be amped in front of a massive home crowd advantage. The winner will find themselves one step closer to raising the trophy and winning this 2015 World Cup.

Both teams are strongly staffed but neither is invincible. Australia struggled at the end of group play, losing to Sri Lanka and New Zealand in close contests. Pakistan, meanwhile, was just the opposite. They opened poorly but came out strong, winning their previous three matches.

Quite simply, anything can -- and probably will -- happen.
