Marcus Mariota is unlikely to be taken with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft next month, but that's quite all right with the former Oregon Duck.

Mariota, who just underwent his pro day on March 12, said that if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers overlook him as the first pick, it won't be a big deal.

"Being the first pick, to me, it's not a huge thing," Mariota told the Bucs' team website Monday during his visit to Tampa. "I'd love to play for the Bucs. With that being said, if you find the team that wants you, that's going to be the right team. I look forward to marketing myself and finding that team."

According to ESPN, Mariota met with general manager Jason Licht ahead of the draft, but there is a strong feeling that the team will select former Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston with the first pick.

The NFL Draft takes place from April 30-May 2 in Chicago and while Licht is likely to select Winston, he attended Mariota's pro day and then had a meeting with him, which the young quarterback stated was an important process.

"This is an opportunity to kind of show how much you know mentally," Mariota told the website about his visit. "It's going to be one of those times where you get to talk about football. I've been looking forward to it."

Mariota won the Heisman Trophy in 2014 and went 304-for-445 (68.3 percent) for 4,454 yards with 42 touchdowns and four interceptions en route to a Rose Bowl victory and a trip to the National Championship Game.

Mariota, 21, went 779-for-1,167 (66.8 percent) in three years with Oregon for 10,796 yards with 105 scores and 14 picks.
