Tony Parker Engaged? Eva Longoria Ex-Husband Refers To Girlfriend Axelle Francine As Fiance

San Antonio Spurs star guard Tony Parker is hinting that he may soon be planning to re-marry.

During a Q&A Wednesday for Swiss watchmaker Tissot, for which he is a brand ambassador, Parker detailed what he does to unwind by making mention of his “fiancé.”  Us Weekly recently reported that Parker has been dating 31-year-old French journalist Axelle Francine for the last two years.

A source also recently told the Daily Mail the French point guard is “madly in love” Francine, and the website said he was spotted out last week shopping for engagement rings.

Parker and Eva Longoria were wed in 2007 and divorced three years later ,after she allegedly found hundreds of text messages on his phone from Erin Barry, the ex-wife of former Spurs teammate Brent Barry.   

Nevertheless, Longoria, a Corpus Christi native, tweeted the team good luck during their NBA Finals tussle with Miami. After Parker hit the game-winning shot in Game 1, ESPN analyst Dick Vitale tweeted her: “Your ex is awesome baby! Mr. Clutch.”

In a 2011 interview, her first following the divorce announcement, she said that she still wants the best for Parker. "It was heartbreaking," she CNN’s told Piers Morgan. "So many people want me to hate him and destroy him, but I don't want to. I want him to be happy. He's not a bad person. I do believe in forgiving and forgetting. There was a reason we were together. I just want to hold on to the good times."
