Barkley has been outspoken ever since he burst on the scene and made his name as a dominant power forward. He famously declared himself not to be a role model during his playing days, and he has maintained his penchant for inflammatory comments behind the analyst's desk.
It was only a few weeks ago that Barkley incensed many fans of advanced statistical metrics when he declared that analytics were for guys that could not pick up girls when they were in high school.

This time, Barkley targeted social media users instead of stat geeks. Barkley has repeatedly insisted that he has no interest in joining Twitter or any other social media network, and he is sticking by those comments, as well as giving some reasons why.
