The WWE presented Monday Night RAW live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and it saw Fastlane opponents Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns battle Randy Orton and Seth Rollins in a tag team main event.
Bryan and Reigns won the match after Orton got angry over Rollins tagging himself in. Orton and Rollins co-existed for the most part until Orton got upset and walked away when Rollins tagged himself in. Reigns hit Rollins with the Superman Punch and Bryan tagged himself in.
Rather then get mad, Reigns laughed it off as Bryan hit knee plus and won the match.
5 Possible WrestleMania 31 Matches Coming Out Of Fastlane
Orton then RKO'd Jamie Noble, but helped Rollins up and left the ring.
Reigns had a previous segment where he came out and talked about all he had to go through just to be able to say he is going to WrestleMania. He then brought up his doubters and those who root for the "other guy" in reference to Bryan and his music played as out came "The Beard."
Bryan said he is the biggest doubter in Reigns and said he's seen guys with size and strength that don't have half the heart that Bryan does. Bryan then said that Reigns showed how much heart he had atFastlane. Bryan then offered Reigns congratulations.
Bryan left and Paul Heyman came out and also offered his congratulations to Reigns. Heyman said he'd take Reigns over anyone -- vs. Bruno Sammartino in 1975, Steve Austin in '98, John Cena anytime and more -- but not at WrestleMania 31. Reigns said doubters give him motivation.
The show kicked off with Orton, who said he is back and wanted a piece of Rollins. "The Viper" played a replay of The Authority beating him down back in November.
He called out Rollins, but The Authority came out instead and told Orton to come back home. Orton was skeptical and Stephanie McMahon invited him to a business conference in the back and he reluctantly agreed. Eventually, the two sides buried the hatchet and the main event was announced.
In another in-ring segment, John Cena came out and spoke about losing to Rusev at Fastlane. Rusev and Lana interrupted and told Cena that the mighty Russian is the superior athlete.
Cena then brought up fighting for America and challenged Rusev to a United States Championship bout atWrestleMania 31, and Rusev turned him down, saying he didn't deserve a rematch.
There was a WWE Tag Team Championship rematch from Fastlane as the new title holders Cesaro & Tyson Kidd took on The Usos. The Usos won via DQ after Natalya pushed one of them off the top rope. Naomi and Natalya got into it on the floor before and after the finish, and Nattie hurt her leg.
There was another segment with Bray Wyatt calling out The Undertaker for WrestleMania 31 and he told the "Deadman" to come find him before slamming a coffin lid shut.
The WWE also announced the second annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal for WrestleMania 31 -- in which Ryback, Curtis Axel and The Miz announced they're entering -- and that Luke and Butch the Bushwhackers will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
