The quarterback gained a modicum of fame during his time at the University of Kentucky and subsequent two years as a backup on the New York Giants. Fans bestowed upon him the nickname the "Hefty Lefty."
Lorenzen's been out of the spotlight for years since his 2007 retirement, but he reemerged on social media Tuesday. Florida State quarterback and prospective number 1 overall draft pick Jameis Winston raised eyebrows recently when a shirtless photo revealed an unexpectedly large gut, and Lorenzen came flying in with a well-timed barb.

As it turns out, that photo of Winston is actually an old one, and the former Heisman winner is in the best shape of his life. Barring a baffling Combine performance or any off-field incidents, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on track to take Winston with the first pick this spring.
Regardless, we have to give Lorenzen points for a hilarious zinger.
