Tonight at 10 p.m. ET, the Boston Bruins (28-19-7, 63 points) and Vancouver Canucks (30-20-3, 63 points) face-off for the first of two meetings this season live from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

Boston has lost two straight games and opens up a five-match road trip while Vancouver has won two out of its last three contests and stops home briefly for one game before going back on the road.

The Canucks enter play in the third and final automatic playoff spot in the Pacific Division while the Bruins are in the second of final wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference and is four points clear of the Florida Panthers in the eighth slot.

Boston and Vancouver play again in just 11 days on Feb. 24 at the TD Garden. These teams played in the 2011 Stanley Cup Final, which saw Boston win in seven games.

The Bruins are coming off of a 5-3 loss to the Dallas Stars on Tuesday and will look to snap their two-game skid.

Patrice Bergeron paces Boston with 36 points off of 15 goals and 21 assists. Carl Soderberg is second on the Bruins with 33 points off of 10 tallies and 23 helpers while Brad Marchand is tied for the team lead by lighting the lamp 15 times and has added 13 assists for 28 points.

The Canucks are coming off of a 5-4 overtime victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday and will look for a second straight triumph.

The Sedin twins have led Vancouver on the scoresheet this season as Daniel has 13 goals and 33 assists and Henrik has nine markers and 37 helpers to tie for the team lead with 46 points.

Radim Vrbata is having a huge first year with the Canucks, finding the twine a team-high 20 times and adding 19 assists for 39 points.

In net, Vancouver is likely to turn to Ryan Miller and he is 25-14-1 with a 2.45 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage while ranking tied for second in the NHL with five shutouts.

Boston is likely to counter with Tuukka Rask, who is 23-14-7 with a 2.28 GAA and a .923 save percentage.
