Now, the team has another issue that they have to deal with, and it has nothing to do with that happened to the team on the field (although they are surely working to deal with those issues also).

According to TMZ, the Eagles have a made a rather serious blunder with the team calendar that they issued. Of course, every team issues a calendar every year, and each month showcases a different player. Philadelphia, however, made a pretty startling oversight with theirs.

As everyone knows, February is Black History Month. So obviously the Eagles picked a white guy to be the face of February for the team calendar.

But it gets worse. The man they picked is wide receiver Riley Cooper. As you may remember, Cooper made headlines in 2013 when he was caught on video at a Kenny Chesney concert saying, "I will jump that fence and fight every n----- here."

Cooper was fined for the incident, and he later apologized. Some of his teammates even came to his defense, claiming that he is not a racist.

Still, the choice is shocking.

"If anything, it was an honest mistake," Eagles PR rep Brett Strohsacker said. "It never crossed our minds. I will look into this issue and see what the thought process was."
