Kobe Bryant and Karl Malone are two of the ten greatest basketball players in the history of the sport, but these two just plum don't like each other.

Their beef first began back in 2004, when they were teammates together on the Los Angeles Lakers.

According to Bryant at the time, Malone had made a series of remarks to his wife Vanessa that were inappropriate at best and a downright come-on at worst. The Mailman in return never denied his comments but said they were being misconstrued to create a "soap opera."

Malone retired from the sport soon after, but told HuffPost Live's Marc Lamont Hill that the two's hard feelings haven't changed all that much.

Although Malone insisted he doesn't hold any grudges toward Kobe, he admitted the two are not close at all. He also suggested that Bryant could come find him and "knuckle up" if there are still any lingering resentments that need addressing.

Now, it's almost 100 percent certain that Malone was talking figuratively, not literally. Nevertheless, it's interesting to see that these two once-close teammates have still not let bygones be bygones over a decade later.
