Tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET LeBron James will meet his former mates from Miami for the second time this season when his Cleveland Cavaliers (32-21) take on the Heat (22-29) on ESPN in an Eastern Conference tilt that can be live streamed free by clicking this link. Cavaliers fans can listen to the radio broadcast on WTAM 1100, while Heat fans may do likewise by turning their radio dials to 560 WQAM.
While Dwyane Wade has assumed the scoring load that James vacated for the Heat this season, averaging a team-high 21.7 points, he will not be in action to face him in Cleveland tonight. Wade brought his A-game in their first meeting this year, dropping 31 points on Christmas Day in a Miami win, but tonight the burden will fall on the rest of the roster.
Meanwhile, the Cavaliers are 13-1 in their last 14 games and James and Kevin Love already have put their brief Twitter controversy on the back burner.
"Listen, I was caught off guard when I heard it," Love said of LeBron's cryptic tweets aimed at him. "I talk to LeBron every day, we're teammates. We see each other. There's no problem with us. He said that if he had a problem with me or anybody on the team ... he would go right to them. So, initially I was confused, but I don't feel bad. I am just going out there to trying to help this team.
"There's no problem with us, and I'm just going to keep saying that I am just trying to help this team. That's all that matters."
The Cavs' season has been rocky at points, but they're playing their best basketball yet and Love responded to the most recent troubles by torching the Lakers for 32 points and 10 rebounds.
