Ndamukong Suh reportedly wants to play for the Seattle Seahawks, but it'll cost him money to do so.

Several media outlets have picked up on the video from Bleacher Report's Jason Cole stating that the Detroit Lions' free-agent defensive tackle "would love to be with the Seattle Seahawks. ... This is his number one choice -- because Suh is from the northwest area, grew up in Portland, he'd like to be there."

For that to happen, most media outlets agree, Suh almost assuredly would have to give up any hopes of signing a $100 million contract that could be waiting for him in the wake of the extension J.J. Watt signed at that price with the Houston Texans in September and the $95.2 million extension Gerald McCoy inked with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers some two months later, mlive.com reported.

The Seahawks have $23 million in cap room for 2015, CBSSports.com reported, which could be enough to entice Suh. But he might not like the team he signs with if he were to get that extension.

The Seahawks have to re-negotiate contracts with quarterback Russell Wilson, who is finished with his rookie deal, running back Marshawn Lynch and linebacker Bobby Wagner.

There's also the matter of the Detroit Lions' ability to use the franchise tag on Suh, SI.com reports. He would get $26.9 million to stay in Detroit, which wouldn't be a bad consolation prize.

According to SI.com, teams can enter negotiations with players and their agents beginning on March 7, and players can sign beginning at 4 p.m. ET on March 10.

The Lions believe they have a good chance of re-signing their No. 2 pick in the 2010 draft.
