The Seattle Seahawks will try to repeat as Super Bowl champions when they face the Patriots on Sunday, but some of the players on the team are mad about the way that they feel they are being treated. A few key players are dealing with injuries, and they did not appreciate having to undergo drug testing earlier this week.

One such player is star free safety Earl Thomas, who suffered a separated shoulder during the NFC Championship Game against the Green Bay Packers. He was forced to submit a blood sample to get tested for HGH on Thursday, and he posted a tweet about his feelings on the matter.

While he declined to talk about the tweet or the drug test during his media time on Thursday, several players are unhappy about the drug testing the team has faced, according to ESPN. "We are being treated like criminals, tested like people on parole," said one unnamed player.

The NFL's HGH testing programs selects eight random teams per week during the offseason, and six random players from each team are subject to testing. The testing is less frequent during the season.

As for Thomas, head coach Pete Carroll expects him to be fine for the game, and Thomas himself sounds like he agrees with that assessment. "I've come so far," Thomas told reporters. "I feel so much better. Each day, it's surprised me because this is my first time with the injury and you don't know what to expect. It has been just positive results from the trainers. They're doing a great job with me."
