Conor McGregor Hops Octagon Cage To Challenge Jose Aldo
Conor McGregor is quickly becoming one of the most famous and most marketable faces in the UFC. He's fresh off a Fight Night 59 TKO of Dennis Siver and now will face off against Jose Aldo for the featherweight championship belt sometime during in 2015.
Now news comes from McGregor's coach, John Kavanagh, has indicated that Taylor might be indicated in one day trading the boxing ring for the Octagon one day in the not-so-distant future.
"Katie Taylor has actually shown some interest in possibly training in mixed matrial arts one day. I’ve been speaking to people," Kavanagh says. "So who knows, we might get her over when she wins her next championship."

Taylor is the current Irish, European, World and Olympic Champion in the 60 kg division for boxing. She also has an Olympic lightweight gold medal from the 2012 London Games. She is considered an icon in the Irish sports world and, together with McGregor, would continue to raise the UFC's profile there and throughout the rest of the UK.
The two recently corresponded on social media with one another following McGregor's Fight Night 59 victory.
