On the Royal Rumble post-show on the WWE Network, Cena was being interviewed backstage over losing his Triple Threat Match against Lesnar and Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship when an altercation occurred.

Rusev, angered by being eliminated by Reigns to lose the 30-man Rumble Match, barged into the interview and started yelling at Cena, grabbing the microphone out of his hand.

Cena then got in Rusev's face and the two had a standoff, likely hinting at a match between the two at WrestleMania 31 on March 29 at Levi's Stadium in California. Several WWE Superstars and officials had to get between them.

Rusev vs. Cena has been a rumored bout for a long time and it appears as though the WWE is headed in that direction.

It was confirmed that Reigns vs. Lesnar will be the main event for WrestleMania as Reigns won the 30-man Rumble Match while Lesnar retained his championship. This match has been rumored for over six months and has now been confirmed.

Daniel Bryan, who was eliminated early on in the Rumble Match much to the chagrin of the Philadelphia crowd and WWE Universe, told The Miami Herald that his dream for the "Show of Shows" would be to face Lesnar.

"Facing Brock Lesnar is my ultimate dream match for WrestleMania 31. If you asked me right now what would be your ideal situation for WrestleMania 31, it would be wrestling Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event," Bryan told the paper. "I think Brock Lesnar is the ultimate monster. He is 'The Beast', but I also think I'm the ultimate underdog. I think it's something the fans want to see. I definitely want to see it. So that's what I'm hoping for."

Other rumored bouts for WrestleMania 31 include Sting vs. Triple H and Bray Wyatt vs. The Undertaker, in the event that the "Deadman" decides to wrestle again at the biggest show of the year.

With the Royal Rumble in the rearview mirror, the WWE has already started building up to the biggest show of the year as WrestleMania 31 is right around the corner.
