The New England Patriots have come under fire in the days since they stomped the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC championship game for allegedly deflating the balls they used during the contest.

Packers QB Rodgers Says God Had Nothing To Do With Seattle Comeback

The NFL has since confirmed that several balls from the Patriots' sideline were found to be underinflated by as much as two pounds. Debate has raged around the subject, with some calling for the franchise to be punished, as the cold weather likely could not account for that drastic deflation. Others are pointing to the 45-7 final score of the game and saying that there is no way Indianapolis would have won, regardless of the air pressure inside the football.

Lost in the midst of all of this is the fact that New England is not the only prominent franchise that engages in such "shenanigans." According to Sports Grid, none other than Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers also likes to mess with the football's air pressure.

DeMarco Murray Engaged After Cheating Scandal

It has been noted on the air during Packers games that Rodgers actually likes to overinflate the footballs that he uses during games. As Phil Simms noted during one broadcast, Rodgers even likes to "push the limit of how much air [the Packers] can put in the football, even go over what they allow you to do and see if the refs take air out of it."

Of course, the Packers story has gone nowhere because the Packers have not exhibited the routine dominance of the Patriots, nor have they previously been accused of cheating, as the Patriots were during the Spygate scandal several years ago.

All in all, it would seem that the "DeFlatriots" are being unfairly portrayed as cheaters for doing something that other teams in the league routinely do also.
