Note to arena soundtrack supervisors: do not play Tupac if you expect DeAndre Jordan to pay attention.

The Los Angeles Clippers center had a beast of a game on Monday night, scoring 19 points, grabbing 12 boards, and blocking 6 shots in a 102-93 win over the Boston Celtics.

After the game, the Clippers' hometown reporter wanted Jordan's take on the teams win, but a hilariously ineffectual interview ensued. After several seconds of silence, Jordan admitted he was a little distracted.

“I was listening to Tupac and I forgot the question,” Jordan said. “But other than that, I don’t know what the question was..."

For the record, the song that caught his ear, "To Live and Die in L.A.," is a fantastic track. So we'll give Jordan a pass here. Teammate Matt Barnes late mock-stangled Jordan with a towel later on, further descending the interview into the realm of farce.

Sometimes the best interviews have nothing to do with the questions being asked. Jordan's hilarious appearance is proof positive of that.
