The Miami Heat appeared invincible for most of the regular season, especially when they reeled off 27 straight victories, but now they are in a do-or-die Game 7 with the competent, and confident Indiana Pacers. Tip off for Game 7 is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. at American Airlines Arena in Miami and the game will be shown on TNT. Game 7 can also be live streamed for free here; the Miami radio broadcast can be heard on 560 WQAM and the Pacers' broadcast can be found on 1070 The Fan.
While the mighty Heat have looked beatable for long stretches of this series, LeBron James has kept steady in both performance and message through the trials and tribulations. Recently, LeBron told reporters, "Each and every year there are 30 teams that would love to be a part of this, to have one game to advance to the NBA Finals. And there's two teams that's in this position. And it's something that you can't substitute, this feeling. You can't substitute the atmosphere that we're going to be in on Monday night for both teams. We should all cherish this moment."
While this game will be played on Miami's court, the Pacers have already stolen a game at American Airlines Arena, and many believe if Roy Hibbert was on the floor in Game 1 Indiana would've taken that contest as well.
Pacers coach Frank Vogel, though, believes his team will need to be nearly mistake-free to go to the NBA Finals. "We believe we can win the series. We always have," Vogel said. "We haven't been perfect this series, but we're going to need to be near perfect to win a Game 7 there."
LeBron will likely need help from the other two members of Miami's "Big Three," Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. Bosh has seen his shot disappear, and his rebounding has been abysmal for a player his size.
Meanwhile, Wade is battling a sore right knee that he is no longer talking about to the media. When asked about his condition, Wade said, "Just got to come out and play to win. It's one game for both teams."
