Stephen Curry took friend and teammate Draymond Green with him to watch the Seattle Seahawks host the Carolina Panthers in the divisional round of the NFC playoffs. Being from North Carolina, Curry is a Panthers fan, and things got a little out of hand during the game.

Peyton Manning Considering Retirement?

According to TMZ, Green and Curry were sitting in a private box at CenturyLink field for the game with some friends and family, but, as one would expect, the fans around and below them were mostly pulling for Seattle. Apparently, Curry and Green were exchanging trash talk with the Seahawks fans below them for most of the evening.

Near the end of the game, things took an ugly turn, however. Seattle began to dominate during the fourth quarter, turning what had been a close game into a near-blowout. The Seattle fans apparently started getting pretty aggressive with their trash talk, and things got heated between the two parties.

Rodgers Guaranteeing That Pack Will Make Super Bowl?

Eventually, tempers flared and the conflict boiled over, which is when Green began throwing food at the Seahawks fans below him. Another person in the box also fired some food down in the same direction. The parties left the game without being kicked out, although the Seattle fans did continue to talk trash.

The Warriors are currently 29-5 and hold the best record in the league. Curry has blossomed into a potential MVP candidate, and Green is a valuable contributor to the squad on both ends of the floor. While no discipline is likely to come as a result of the incident, the Warriors may want to think twice about giving some of their best players time off in the future.
