Shaquille O'Neal, Arizona Beverage Launch SodaShaq!

Shaquille O’Neal has partnered with Arizona Beverage Co. to launch his own brand of soda.

SodaShaq! will soon be in grocery freezers all across the country after the colorful O’Neal took time from his TNT NBA playoffs commentary to tweet the business alliance earlier this week.

The soda will come in four flavors, strawberry, orange, vanilla and blueberry, O’Neal tweeted, adding “Yo! DrinkArizona. Just launched the new delicious SodaShaq! Keep up kids. Comin to stores very soon.”

According to Deadspin.com, the deal calls for O’Neal to take in a percentage of worldwide sales and for the brand to officially be on shelves sometime next month. The web site also reported the cans are to be color-coded, pink for strawberry, off-white for vanilla and blue for blueberry.

It’s been a busy post-retirement for O’Neal, who, in addition to the aforementioned TNT gig and new soda deal, has also appeared on various TV shows, been front-and center on several high-profile-businesses deals and relaunched his legendary and signature Reebok sneaker.

O’Neal, a surefire first-ballot Hall of Famer, spent his career playing for six NBA teams (Orlando Magic, L.A. Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics). He won four NBA championships and is routinely ranked among the most dominant centers in league history.
