Life can be pretty good, even with a broken leg, if Los Angeles Lakers rookie Julius Randle is to be believed.

Julius Randle Breaks His Leg on Opening Night

TMZ Sports approached the 20-year-old forward this week when Randle was out and about shopping in downtown LA. Randle was sporting a prominent limp on his surgically repaired leg, but it was encouraging to see him upright and moving about (according to TMZ Randle also has an unrelated foot surgery upcoming).

The cameraholder asked Randle if the bad leg has hindered Randle from doing anything he loves (this is besides play NBA basketball of course). Randle insists that he's fine and that "he's just chilling" with his family for the time being.

Julius Randle Speaks Publicly For First Time Since Injury

Randle was even asked if the injury has interrupted his love life. The rookie's response is a quick laugh and "no, I'm good, I'm good." And all while wearing a "69" t-shirt no less. Go do you, Julius.

Randle was projected to be a prime candidate for the NBA's Rookie of the Year award in the 2014-15 season, but suffered a broken tibia in his very first appearance with the Los Angeles Lakers.
