The Baltimore Ravens defeated their hated rivals from Pittsburgh 30-17 last night in the first round of the AFC playoffs, and Joe Flacco added another good playoff performance to his resume. After the game, Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh had high praise for his starting quarterback.

Harbaugh has not hidden the fact that he thinks very highly of Flacco, and he did so again following last night's game. According to ESPN, Harbaugh said that he thinks Flacco is the top quarterback in the league.

"Joe Flacco, what can you say," said Harbaugh. "He's the best quarterback in football. We'll take him any day of the week, twice on Sunday or Saturday if that be the case."

Flacco completed 18 of his 29 passes and threw for 259 yards and two touchdowns without throwing any interceptions. Going back to the 2012-13 postseason, it was Flacco's fifth straight postseason without any interceptions. The Ravens won the Super Bowl that year behind an otherworldly four-game stretch from Flacco. He eventually was named Super Bowl MVP.

For his career, Flacco has a playoff record of 10-4. Seven of those wins have come on the road, making Flacco the winningest road quarterback in NFL playoff history. No other quarterback has more than five road playoff wins.

The win means that Baltimore will travel to New England next week for their divisional round game. The last time the two teams met in the postseason was two years ago, when Baltimore traveled to New England for the AFC Championship Game and defeated the Patriots 28-13.
